Sunglass case crocheted using Mercerized Cotton Yarn
Mercerized cotton yarn is strongly twisted making it ideal for jewelry, bags and purses and accessories where a firm fabric finish is desired.
Here Daruma mercerized cotton crochet yarn is used to create a sunglass case. The "pattern" is simply crochet bobble stitch into a rectangle which is then folded in half and hand seamed. The firm finish of the mercerized cotton means that no lining is required.
You could use the same idea for a glasses pouch or a small purse or bag with a foldover top. Quick and so easy!
