We believed this thread to literally be stainless steel covered in silk.
We needed the strength for our very public Floral Art competition in Melbourne.
Sadly it is ONLY the colour was stainless steel. Quite misleading.

We are sorry to hear that the yarn did not meet your expectations. To clarify, this yarn has a very fine core which is 100% stainless steel. The stainless steel component is what gives the finished fabric a unique body, drape and movement. It is not a stainless steel wire as such and is not intended for structural applications. It is a fine yarn or thread which is intended for knitting, crochet and weaving fabrics and the like. We have amended the product description to clarify this.
If you were looking for a metal wire for strength-based applications, we completely understand why this may not have been the right fit.
